Opinion on the Mitchell Report findings.....?
There has been a list of names published of current and former MLB players to have been linked to Steroids or other Performance enhancers. Absent from the list are some of the admitted users (i.e. Camineti) and some of those who have tested positive (i.e. Palmiero), but there is no doubt that they used steroids. What I find interesting (and I am not giving this person a "he never did it" hall p) is that in what has amounted the most in depth and thourough investigation of this kind, Mark McGwire's name has yet to surface. How is this possible? If I had to say one way or the other, I would think that he did use them, but since his name has remained out of all of this, what are we to believe? If he has never tested positive, his name has not been mentioned in all of this, at what point do we reconsider the widely accepted belief that he's guilty? How is it that all of the names we expect to hear, and names that we would not expect to hear surface, but he is no where to be found?
