Can someone just give me some information about the Black Death in the Medieval Ages?

I'm doing an essay about the Black Death in the Medieval Times and I've checked out mostly all the websites about Black Death but nothing really gives good answers. i need to know about how could you get this disease and how often and what would happen if you did got Black Death Disease (.. itching, skin affection, weakened immunity system ... etc)
