Bartender refused to serve me after he found out I was pregnant?! Is this discrimination?
I'm getting married in a month and my bachelorette party was Saturday night. It was super fun and I was pretty wasted with all my ladies and then I remembered that I had my ultrasound photos from the earlier in the week still in my purse. None of my friends knew about the pregnancy yet and I figured it was a great time to tell everybody, so I stood up as high as I could, held up my ultrasound images and yelled "This shot is for my baby!" while holding my next shot of SoCo and Lime. I don't know what happened, but everybody got really quiet. The bartender took the shot out of my hand and told me to get out. My best friend tried to get me to leave quietly, but I wasn't done partying. Then the DJ stopped the music and the bouncers came over and told me to leave. I was furious about being treated differently just because I was pregnant. I knocked over a bar stool and chugged my beer and then the bouncers dragged me out. I am still completely furious, so can I sue the bar for discrimination? They were treating me just fine until they found out I was pregnant, so I think I have a really good case. Please answer...
